NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
W6369-22-X053/B
Industrial Shredder Machine
UNSPSC: 44101603
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W6369-22-X053/A dated 11 January 2023, that closed on 16 February 2023 at 2:00 PM EST. A debriefing will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
Department of National Defence - CFB Upland requires the supply and delivery of one (1)
Industrial shredder. The principal purpose of this shredder will be to demilitarize some CTAT (Controlled Technology Access and Transfer), items like CADPAT uniforms as well as some textiles, heavy leather and rubber. The secondary purpose would be to use this shredder to demilitarize some documents, hard drives and miscellaneous electronic products.
The proposed equipment must meet the requirements detailed in the Statement of Requirement (SOR) attached as an annex to the solicitation document.
Applicable Trade Agreements:
Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
There will be no set-aside for aboriginal businesses. This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract includes a security requirement.
It is DND’s intention to award a single contract for this requirement.
Bidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement.
The basis of selection shall be the compliant Bidder that offers the lowest-cost compliant proposal.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
DND reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the proposals received.
Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
