INDUSTRY DAY EVENT - US Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District, Lower Monongahela Dam Removal

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is currently planning a Lower Monongahela Dam Removal Industry Day for Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET, at the William S. Moorhead Federal Building located at 1000 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 (Room 1310). Due to current building guidelines, only 20 people will be allowed to attend. The session is expected to last approximately 2 hours. A second session will be held at 10:00 a.m. to accommodate additional people as necessary. The two sessions will be identical so there is no reason to attend both. This project is expected to be synopsized and later solicited around the beginning of Spring of 2022. At this Industry Day, we will have an overall construction briefing and Q&A session. This work falls under the NAICS Code 237990 for heavy, civil work. If you are a contractor under this NAICS code you are welcome to schedule a 1 on 1 meeting. One on One meetings will be available on Wednesday June 23rd at starting at 12:30 p.m. and will last for 45 minutes each. The meetings are scheduled on a first come first serve basis. It is requested that you contact Jane Roney, Contract Specialist, and PDT member for this project, to reserve a time for your firm to meet with the technical team in closed discussions. Contact Ms. Roney no later than Monday, June 21st to register for a session with the technical team, and/or to advise your intent to attend this event.
