Note: There is a 4-person limit for contractor representatives whether a virtual or in-person meeting is utilized. **** ***UPDATE: 31 August 2020 This update is to incorporate the Contractor Questionnaire, draft Request for Proposal evaluation criteria, and the draft 70% plans and specifications. Contractors that are interested in downloading these files must submit their DD2345 to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for approval OR must have an approved DD2345 on file with the DLA which is within the last 5 years. *** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Detroit District, is conducting a series of Industry Engagement events from 1 Oct 2020 through 8 Oct 2020 to seek feedback from potential contractors on the New Lock at the Soo Chamber construction at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The intent is for USACE to share the 70% plans with contractors (28 Aug 2020), present an Overview of Chamber Design webinar (1 Oct 2020), conduct an Industry Site Visit (6 Oct 2020), and meet individually with contractors to gain feedback from a contractor perspective towards clarity and constructability of the current plan (6 ? 8 Oct). The 70% Plans will be available for your review on or about 28 August 2020. In order to access the 70% Plans, security clearance is required (see below table). In order to participate in the 01 Oct webinar and/or the 6 Oct site visit, pre?registration is required (see below table). In order to schedule an individual meeting with USACE on 6, 7, or 8 Oct, an appointment is required (see below table). A list of questions for discussion with contractors during the individual meetings will be posted on SAM on or around 28 Aug 2020.***
