Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Coloplast Corp.; 1601 W. River Rd.; Minneapolis, MN, 55411-3431. The objective of this sole source award is to acquire six Inflatable Penile Prosthesis (IPP). Salient Characteristics must include: 1. A minimum size of 10cm and maximum size of 28cm depending on the patient 2. Requires FDA approved sub muscular placement implants 3. Requires the prosthesis to have hydrophilic coating to enable the surgeon to choose and deliver the drugs (antibiotics) of choice to the surgical site Coloplast Corp. is the manufacturer and sole distributer of the required items.
