The U.S. Army, through the Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate and U.S. Army Europe and Africa in partnership with the FUZE xTech Program, is conducting Accelerated Capability Event 27-02 for Spectrum Enabled Warfare. This initiative seeks operationally mature electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities at Technology Readiness Level 6 or higher to enhance the ability of U.S. and NATO forces to sense, exploit, and protect contested electromagnetic environments. The effort focuses on four primary capability areas: Electromagnetic Support and Tactical Surveillance, Autonomous Network Management, Electromagnetic Environment Visualization and Battle Damage Assessment Tools, and Electromagnetic Attack and Active Countermeasures. Potential follow-on funding includes a 10 million dollar pool for Army SBIR Direct to Phase II awards for eligible small businesses in specific capability areas and a 6 million dollar pool for Prototype Other Transaction Agreements. Eligible participants include domestic and foreign for-profit and nonprofit organizations, provided they are not based in a Foreign Country of Concern.
