The objective of the project is to replace the current access card system with a modern solution that will enhance reliability, security, and functionality. The new system will improve system performance, integrate with other security features, and support future organizational requirements. Additionally, outdated magnetic locks will be replaced by the electric strikes to meet code requirements and improve life-safety standards. This project includes the installation of a new card access system to replace existing access-controlled doors including a server and workstation as well as the addition of new access-controlled doors. Installation cabling will utilize existing 5 access control panels located in the facility. The server and workstation will be located in the server room. All intrusion devices will be integrated into the access control system and configured to allow intrusion system to be armed and disarmed via access card. The project also includes the replacement of all existing magnetic locks with electric strikes or electrified locksets. Access control equipment must meet infrastructure design specifications. The Project Scope is as follows: 1. Removal mag locks and blue pull stations. 2. Installation of Electric Strikes. 3. New card readers to be installed, dual authentication readers where specified. 4. New PC to be supplied and installed 5. Provide a comprehensive training session for the client/end user team 6. Supply all Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, including hard copies, and providing all master/installer passwords upon project completion (including any required software updates) 7. All installation to be performed with minimal impact to the current system and users. 8. Ensure the current system remains operational while being phased out with new system. 9. Ensure power and data requirements are met to support client’s new system. 10. All damages to surrounding to be patched and repaired as required.
