Initiative Ordinance Entitled “Amendment to Chapter 99.04 of Ramona Municipal Water District’s Legislative Code to Acknowledge Voter Amendments to Proposition N

The Ramona Municipal Water District is implementing an initiative ordinance to amend Chapter 99.04 of its Legislative Code. This ballot measure focuses on two primary objectives: exempting grant funding from the 1988 voter-initiative known as Proposition NN and increasing the authorized debt limit from 1 million dollars, established in 1998, to 10 million dollars effective January 1, 2027. The project is district-wide within the unincorporated areas of San Diego County. The initiative is managed by General Manager Erica Wolski and is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
