This amendment 002 is raised to extend the closing date to January 10, 2023.
============ This amendment 001 is raised to extend the closing date to November 30, 2022.
============ The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement to replace the existing Inmate Intercom system at Dorchester Minimum Institution in Dorchester, New Brunswick.
Work will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the daily operation and security of the institution. The work includes the design, supply, install, test, train operators and maintenance provider’s on the installed equipment, as described in the Statement of Technical Requirements (STR). Documentation for the operation and maintenance of this equipment must be provided. Refer to Annex A.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There is an optional bidders’ site visit associated with this requirement where personnel security screening is required prior to gaining access to the site.
It is optional that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on October 19, 2022 at 10:00 am. at the Dorchester Minimum Institution. Interested Bidders shall meet at the Dorchester Minimum Institution, 4902A Main Street, Dorchester, NB E4K 2Y9, Building F 58 Main Administration Building. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form at each site visit. Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative to the site visit will not be given an alternative appointment.
Bidders who do not attend the bidder’s optional site visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
The onus is on the bidders to arrive at the site visit in a timely manner. Bidders arriving late will not be permitted to attend the site visit. Bidders will be allowed only one attendee at the site visit.
Bidders are requested to clearly identify the name of the participant, the name of the company, e-mail address and telephone number and submit it to the Contracting Authority by e-mail at joanne.m.ladouceur@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca . It is requested that this information be received by this office no later than October 12, 2022. In order to participate in the site visit, the representative of the Bidder will be required to have:
• a valid government issued piece of identification (ID) (i.e. Driver’s License or Passport). Bidders should submit in writing to the Contracting Authority, a list of issues that they wish to table and the language they would like to address questions and answers, no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the scheduled site visit.
Bidders are advised that any clarifications or changes resulting from the site visit shall be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation document through buyandsell.gc.ca.
As proof of attendance, the Bidder must sign the attendance form provided by the CSC representative at the site visit.
Drawings and Floor Plans will be provided to all Bidders during the optional site visit.
The work is requested to be completed within 12 weeks after contract award.
