Located at 111 St. George Street, directly across from Innis College, the residence accommodates up to 328 students from diverse backgrounds. The existing first floor includes a mix of spaces such as lobby, event room, offices, residential areas, storage, and an ITS hub. The renovation will prioritize the lobby area as the first phase, with the primary goal of reimagining it as a dynamic, welcoming space that better serves students and other users of the residence. Currently, the event room, lobby, and quad are the three bookable spaces for student events. The project area is approximately 357 GSM. Beyond the lobby renovation, the project also includes separate costs for security camera upgrades, which may extend outside the project area, along with AV improvements in the event room and new loose furniture. Bidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com. Fees may apply; See https://www.merx.com/public/pricing for more information.
