The contract pertains to the procurement of a single panel fastener insert identified by NSN 5325-01-499-7538, with a requirement for delivery within five days of award. The item is defined by a military or consensus non-government part standard, and hardware manufactured to any prior revision of that standard remains acceptable if it was current at the time of production; however, all units produced from the solicitation date forward must comply with the current revision of the standard. Packaging and quality requirements are governed by DLA’s master list of technical and quality specifications, referenced via R or I numbers, with revision control tied to the solicitation or award date depending on the acquisition scale. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, or an equivalent zero-based plan, with attributes classified as critical, major, or minor assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II respectively, or corresponding AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0; unspecified attributes default to major, and acceptance criteria demand zero non-conformances unless otherwise stated. Identification marking must comply with MIL-STD-130N, and removal of government identification from non-accepted items is required. The solicitation, issued under number SPE4A0-26-T-2887, opened on April 30, 2026, with a response deadline of May 8, 2026, and is categorized under NAICS code 332722 as a fully competitive federal procurement by the Department of Defense’s Aviation Supply Chain ESOC, with performance required at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and primary point of contact Danita Davis.
