Install and Repair Monitoring Systems at Dams

The contractor is responsible for fully equipping, installing, and commissioning new PMU-9101-T-WR monitoring units at designated dam sites, encompassing all necessary hardware including solar panels, batteries, controllers, sensor probes, cabling, mounting poles, and ancillary components. All installations must be secured using mechanical fasteners exclusively, with no adhesive or double-sided tape permitted, and each unit must be mounted on a 2-inch diameter steel pole grounded in accordance with standards. Where installed on dam embankments, the monitoring unit must be positioned at least ten feet above ground level, and all cabling must be routed underground from the pole to the shoreline. The contractor must complete work at every listed project site, ensuring proper mobilization, transportation, labor, quality control, and warranty support as part of the full turnkey delivery. Prior to installation, the contractor must obtain formal approval from the Contracting Officer’s Representative for each proposed system location, with all activities governed by the terms of this solicitation issued by the USDA Forest Service, Office in Laurel, Mississippi, for performance in Monroe, Arkansas.
