Amendment To Combined Synopsis and Solicitation


This amendment is to provide more information and clarity regarding the initial requirement.


The site visit has been extended from Today till 07 May 2026 (0830 to 1600). Questions and Answers will not be accepted after 1600 on 07 May 2026.


Offeror Due Date is extended to 1000 08 May 2026. Quotes will not be accepted after 1000 08 May 2026 Hawaii Time.


You are required to confirm your final quote NLT 1600 May 07 2026.


The PWS has been updated to include the following updates:


5.1 Basic Services: This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide installation of a new fiber optic cable within the existing secure Protected Distribution System (PDS) at 413th Contracting Support Brigade, 536 Palm Circle Drive, BLDG T122 – Second Floor, Fort Shafter, HI 96858.


5.2  Tasks: Tasks consist of the following:


5.2.1 Task 1: The contractor shall install One Strand of Multimode Fiber Optic Cable within the existing secure Protected Distribution System (PDS). After installation, the contractor shall permanently re-seal any open sections of the PDS during installation using safety complaint methods.


5.2.1.2 Task 2: Contractor is required to provide 130 Foot Multimode Fiber Optic Cables for this installation that will be run as follows:


From PDS to Junction: SC to ST


From Junction to patch panel in safe: ST to SC


From Patch panel to switch: SC to LC


Fiber mode: Multi mode


5.2.2 Task 3: Terminate the newly installed cable at the switch using a 1 GB GBIC. The contractor shall provide cable test results after installation.


5.2.3 Task 4: Permanently and securely reseal any portion of the PDS opened during the installation, ensuring all methods are compliant with safety regulations.


5.2.3 Task 5: Final Inspection and Acceptance by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR); Mr. Edwin Mariano.
