The purpose of this special notice is to publicly announce the intent to award a sole source contract and will be the only notice pertaining to this requirement. This Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) Single Source Justification and Approval (J&A) documents the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Information Technology (IT) Information Assurance and Cyber Security Division (IAD) intent to award a purchase order based on (FAR 13.106-1 (b). Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work for the brand name product. Any and all redactions in this published document (that is, language marked out or deleted) have been identified and confirmed by the Government as contractor proprietary information which the Government must protect from unauthorized disclosure. This notice is not seeking competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government and based on the rational provided in the attached redacted J&A.
