The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Division, Maritime Norfolk intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for insulation, thermal which will be required by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, in Portsmouth, VA. The material will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement will be solicited on a 100% small business set aside basis. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 314999 and the size standard is 500.
