Solicitation SPE4A6-27-R-X028 is an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of Insulator, Feedthru components, NSN 5970-01-502-4330. This is designated as a critical application item with an approved source of TE Connectivity Corporation, part number CES-4-T1. The contract establishes a five-year base period with an aggregate value limit of 350,000 dollars, featuring annual quantities of 20 units per year, with individual delivery order quantities ranging from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 units. Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order to various CONUS stock locations, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The procurement is a firm fixed price award and is not a small business set-aside. Technical compliance requires adherence to MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 for quality assurance. Contractors must ensure that mercury or mercury-containing compounds are not intentionally added to the hardware. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and strict compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program and safeguarding covered defense information. Award determinations will be based on a comparative assessment of price, past performance via SPRS assessments, and quoted delivery.
