ntegrated Solid Waste Management South at Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCI-PAC) Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan


Contract Type: Recurring (Firm Fixed Price)/ Non-Recurring (IDIQ) Services contract Anticipated Period of Performance: The anticipated performance period is for a base period of 12-months and seven (7) 12-month option periods. There are total of eight (8) years performance periods.


Project requirements: Collection of solid waste to include non-residential, general waste, and disposal of all wastes. Contractor to provide containers for unscheduled collections. These containers will function as collection points for refuse generated during special events held aboard various U.S. Government Installations located on Okinawa.


It is to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform refuse collection, disposal and recycling at Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan to include but not limited to Camp Foster, Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Lester, Plaza and Buckner Communication Site.


Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country to Japan.  Contractor must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. Bidder must be registered to do business in Japan and possess all valid permits and licenses as required by the contract.  The Contractor shall provide valid license from applicable municipalities for the collection and transportation of general waste under this contract.
