Notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to: Quark Communications, Inc for the pedestrian counting systems service at four (4) different ports in the San Diego area. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to be used for consideration of future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and an RFQ will not be issued, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and used for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any vendor who wishes to submit a proposal for future consideration should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Mistelle Watkins no later than 12:00 noon EST, January 21, 2010 at contact@example.gov.
