Intent to Award Sole Source

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure the following items 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE: routine maintenance of the Mass Parking Area Intrusion Detection System. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the proceeding products to Diebold Inc., at 5995 Mayfair Rd, Canton, OH 44707-8077. Note: This firm is the sole provider of these services. The proposed contract action is for items which the Govt intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. Period of performance 29 Sep 08 through 28 Sep 09. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Govt. A determination by the Govt not to compete this proposed delivery order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Govt.
