Full Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT by ACA Directorate of Contracting, 4118 Susquehanna Ave., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure a Scaffolding System that will match up with the existing scaffolding that is currently in place as required by the Government. The Government intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 for the above product to Universal Manufacturi ng Corp., 550 W. New Castle St., Zelienople, PA 16063. Note: This firm is the sole manufacturer of the product being requested. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy the agency requirements. All responses received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discr etion of the Government.
