Full Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Waukesha Foundry, Inc., 1300 Lincoln Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186-5389. The contractor shall provi de armor plate, historic P900, alloy 4130. Waukesha is the only company who can cast the plates to the size needed in the required timeframe. The plates are required to properly correlate future experimental results with previous data. The North American I ndustry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 331513 and the size standard is 750. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 2:00 PM, Eastern DST, June 15th, 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
