Intent to Award Sole Source--DACMS

OL:H/PZIOA, Hill AFB, Operational Contracting intends to award a Sole Source contract to Intercomp Co. for Deployable Automated Cargo Measuring System (DACMS) in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333997, and the business size standard is 500 employees. The DACMS was developed by Intercomp with commercial off the shelf hardware that was integrated with a custom software package to meet the specifications of the Air Expeditionary Force Battlelab DACMS initiative.. Due to the proprietary nature of this requirement, it is determined that Intercomp, Co. is the only source available, and no other vendor can fulfill this requirement. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order. The delivery for this requirement will be in September 2014. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all proposals received within three business days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide these services. Requests must include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers of the requester, e-mail address, Cage code and business size. All proposals should be delivered via e-mail to jase.reyneveld.1@us.af.mil, no later than 1400 MST 23 JUN 2014. Proposals delivered by other than e-mail will not be accepted. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
