The project encompasses several County-owned facilities, including the IT Building, Historic Courthouse, Health Building, and Lewis County Jail. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting on-site evaluations to determine the remaining useful life of existing systems, assessing code compliance with NFPA 72, IBC, and IFC standards, and developing bid-ready construction drawings and technical specifications. Notice of Intent for Sole Source Award to Johnson Controls for N2 Controller Upgrade
Solicitation # FA462526Q1117
The U.S. Department of Defense, through the 509th Combat Communications Group at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, intends to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls for the upgrade of N2 controllers across the base’s entire controls network. The contract will include incidental installation services necessary to complete the upgrade. The action is documented under solicitation number FA462526Q1117, posted on July 16, 2026, and falls under NAICS code 335314 for Other Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The procurement is classified as a presolicitation, with no set-aside designation applied.
