Full Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a sole source (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Dr William Lacourse, Professor of Biochemistry at the UMBC, 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250. The contractor shall develop a separation and detection method for 2 RDX metabolites, methylene dinitramine(MEDINA) and 4-nitro-2, dizabutanal (NDAB) in monkey urine. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirment is 541711 and the size standard is $7M. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 4:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time, September 15, 2008.
