The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Sole Source procurement action with UFA, Inc for the procurement of the following items: The Contractor shall provide the following: CLIN 0001: ATCloud/ATSpeak: Licenses,Software, Training, Warranty: Qty: 5 U/I: EA CLIN 0002: ATCloud/ATSpeak:Hardware Qty: 1 U/I: EA This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) - - Soliciting from a single source. UFA Inc. is the sole source for this requirement. UFA's software is used to teach Air Traffic Control (ATC) fundamentals, phraseology, along with performance simulation training. As such, UFA's ATCloud software is the only product that can support training using existing content/scenarios from the main STARS simulator. STARS is the mission critical operational air traffic management system used by Air Force Air Traffic Controllers. This is a notice of intent to award a Sole Source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this Sole Source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Friday, 19 August 2022 at 10:00 AM PST to David Velarde at email david.velarde@us.af.mil or phone (520) 228-4185. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
