TITLE: F3T2MX9301AQ01, Sole Source Acquisition for the purchase of Datawatch Monarch Licenses The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Datawatch, required items to be purchased are: This procurement will be for the purchase of one license with one year of maintenance for the Maintenance Management Analysis (MMA) Section for the continued use of the Datawatch Monarch software at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Datawatch is the exclusive distributor of this third-party software. This is the only company able to provide licenses and training on this software package. The purchase of the software training is necessary for MMA to provide key maintenance indicators across the 4 FW and process data requests. Without the Datawatch Monarch software, the 4th MXG MMA will not be able to process thousands of Integrated Maintenance Data System data points effectively. This will result in a great increase of man hours and increased time needed to process local and ACC data requests. The purchase of this software will enable SJAFB to utilize full analytical tools and enable the MMA Section to provide quick turnaround on requests and enable all daily, weekly, and monthly MMA functions. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 31 Oct 2019 at 1:00 P.M EST.
