NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. The 188th Wing, AR ANG, intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to: Vendor: Rodale Wireless, Inc NAICS: 334511 Small Business Size Standard: 1250 Scope: The proposed contract is to repair broken DPT-2B Radar Transmitting Set, which is an internal part of the AN/UPQ-8 Threat Emitter. Rodale Wireless, Inc. is the manufacturer of the DPT-2B Radar Transmitting Set, making them the only vendory capable of repairing the properitary technology. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source has been idenified as reasonably available to provide the supplies/services that will satisfy agency requirements. Anticipated award date: 9 July 2019 Delivery: 30 days Information received as a result of this notice will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal, solicitation of offers or invitation for bid. Therefore, there are no solicitation documents. The government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quote to Samuel Bond at contact@example.gov , which may be considered by the agency if received by the date below. Responses must be received no later than 1600 CST on Friday, 5 July 2019. If no responses are received, a sole source contract will be pursued with Rodale Wireless, Inc. Responses must be received electronically by email. Telephone responses will not be fielded. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
