The Government intends to issue a sole source award for Preventative Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) services for the Monaco D‑21 Fire Alarm Reporting System currently installed across Davis‑Monthan AFB. This requirement is a follow‑on procurement to Contract FA487722F0066 for a five year contract (Base Year plus Four Option Years). The existing system architecture remains fully proprietary to Monaco Enterprises Incorporated (MEI), and MEI retains exclusive ownership of all software, firmware, communication protocols, and integration pathways associated with the D‑21 system.
All interested parties must respond no later than 18 September 2026 at 1200 PM ET to Kody McPherson at kody.mcpherson.1@us.af.mil and Contracting Officer Jerry Sauder at jerry.sauder.1@us.af.mil. Responses received will be reviewed in detail; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be evaluated exclusively to determine whether a competitive procurement is appropriate.
The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse parties for any costs associated with submitting capability information.
Interested vendors are encouraged to review the Intent to Sole Source Letter for additional details and RFO references.
