1. Pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the U.S. Air Force, 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena AB, Japan, intends to issue a "sole source" award to Unify Inc., 5500 Broken Sound Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33487, United States, for maintenance services for the Unify HiPath Dispatch System. The Unify HiPath Dispatch System is utilized by the 18th Wing Command Post and 733rd Air Mobility Squadron (AMS) to maintain communications crucial to each organizations mission. Unify has proprietary rights to this system. Unauthorized third party maintenance providers will not have the ability to provide software maintenance patches or releases for Unify's software. Additionally, authorized third party maintenance providers are prohibited from providing these services to Unify's direct customers without Unify's prior written authorization. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. 2. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions.
