INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE MILLIPORE FILTER TUBES AND PLATES

This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposals. A solicitation document will not be issued, and proposals will not be requested. HHS, SUPPLY SERVICE CENTER, PERRY POINT, MARYLAND, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract of single tube (UFC50VL96, UFC5030BK, and UFC30GVOS) and multi-well (MSNU03050 and MSGVN2250) extraction plates from EMD Millipore Corporation, 25760 Network Place, Chicago, IL 60673-1257, for use by BioWatch laboratories located across the country. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02. This action is under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 253(c) (3)(B) as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). This is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
