NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 18th Contracting Squadron (18 CONS/PKA) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Intellisense Systems Inc, 21041 S Western Ave Torrance, CA 90501-1727 for the Remote Weather Observation Kit. See attached Single Source Justification. 18 CONS/PKA will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other than Full and Open Competition. The authority soliciting a single source under SAP is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that the contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 10:00AM, J.S.T, 15 September 2023 via email to contact@example.gov and contact@example.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government, This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received by the closed date specified herein will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds, Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
