Intent to Sole Source The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) Quantico, Virginia, intends to award a sole source contract to Safran Optics 1 (2 Cooper Lane, Bedford, New Hampshire 03110) for a service contract to repair the Marine Corps Sniper Range Finder (SRF). This service contract is required to support the repair capability of fielded SRFs until they can be maintained organically by the Marine Corps. This action is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirements in FAR Part 6. As a result of market research, and in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Safran Optics 1 is deemed the only responsible source, and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.
