This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to Stanley Vidmar Storage Technologies, PO Box 371744, Pittsburgh PA 15251-7744 for the purchase of a storage/retrieval system. The authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government will only favorably consider and evaluate offers that unquestionably and clearly demonstrate the offerors ability to provide the same "Brand Name" or equal system. Product must be "Brand Name". If providing an "EQUAL" product, please provide the specifications of each item for technical acceptance review. Description: 1 Each - Vidmar MXV-50 Tower XL VLM - 30' 6 1/8" high (30' 10 1/8" overall height clearance required), 1,100 lb. live load capacity per drawer and 132,000 lb. overall potential machine capacity. This machine will contain a total of 60 slotted drawers providing 122" x 25 3/4" usable space (21.82 sq ft) per drawer.
