Full Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to John Tiller Software, Inc. to provide all services for the following: Create a realistic representation of an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) in the Open Simulation virtual environment. The contractor must update the Air Power Deployment Editor and Air Power Air Tasking Order Editor applications to run in a multi-player mode, then integrate the Theater Airpower Visualization (TAV) suite into a virtual AOC in Open Simulation for self-hosted use. The contractor must then transfer the TAV-integrated virtual AOC developed in Open Sim into the Second Life virtual world for externally-hosted use and persistent availability. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the requirements above, they must respond to this notice in writing before 4:00 pm CDT on 8 July 2011. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued John Tiller Software , Inc. The anticipated award date for this contract is on or before 22 July, 2011.
