Operational Security Cameras Bagwell and North Cargo AreasThe contract entails the design, permitting, and construction of a new security camera system across the Bagwell and North Cargo Operations areas of the Port of Seattle, aimed at enhancing surveillance capabilities for forensic investigations and enforcing port movement regulations. This initiative will replace or supplement existing cameras, which currently focus on conveyor systems and security doors, with higher resolution units strategically positioned to cover key drive lanes, entrances, and operational zones in the Bagwell area. In the North Cargo area, the solution will include flexible, user-controlled Pan Tilt Zoom cameras to expand coverage across open surface areas, ensuring comprehensive visual monitoring where fixed cameras are insufficient. A total of 50 cameras will be installed at 43 distinct locations to optimize coverage without redundancy. The project is managed by the Aviation Project Management Group under the Port of Seattle, with primary contact Angela Peterson and Project Manager Randa Williams available for coordination. The work falls under NAICS code 238210, indicating electrical and wiring installation services, and is scheduled to be forecasted with a posted date of July 5, 2026. While no set-aside status or formal solicitation number has been provided, the contract will require full compliance with port regulatory standards and will be performed on-site at the designated cargo operations areas. All activities, from planning and permitting through final installation and commissioning, must be executed to ensure seamless integration with existing security infrastructure and operational workflows.
