Interior Door Replacement

B-Main Building- Remove the existing doors and frames from the plaster walls, enlarge the openings to create an adequate space for the new frame and install new 3'-0" x 7'-0", 1 1/2 hour rated hollow metal doors, fire rated panic bars and hollow metal frames with welded corner miters and patch the walls with 1/2" plywood with 5/8" type 'X' fire rated drywall. (14 doors and frames) (300sf fire rated drywall, taped, spackled and sanded, and finished with 1 coat of primer and 2-coats of finish semi gloss latex enamel). Prep door for Best lock system. Cores to be supplied by Operator. A. Contractor shall verify all condition prior to start of project and door locations. B. Coordinate all work with the maintenance manager. C. Panic Hardware to be LCN heavy duty or equal with pull one side. D. Hinges to be heavy duty spring type. E. Hollow metal 16 ga, wrap around. F. Paint steel doors, walls and steel frames to match existing color. G. Caulk interior and exterior of door frame to new or existing wall. H. Install new smoke seals and/or gaskets and sweeps I. 14 new thresholds, verify sizes J. Doors 18 ga steel, primed and painted to match existing K. All doors to have a 12" x 12" vision fire rated glazing. L. Kick plates to be 12" brushed steel installed on each side of all doors. M. Match existing paint color, submit samples to operator prior to painting.
