Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) is soliciting offers from qualified firms interested in providing Internet Services eligible for E-Rate reimbursement to serve our current 23 locations. The intent of this RFP is to obtain solutions, support and pricing options for Internet Services with bandwidth options between 10Gbps and 30Gbps. The successful vendor is expected to provide the end-to-end solution to include the network infrastructure, implementation plan, network connectivity, network hardware, network configuration, and network monitoring required for a fully-managed Internet service. Rockdale County Public Schools plans to use this Internet Service as our egress point for access to educational content and resources available to K-12 school districts. This Internet Service should be capable of supporting services such as audio, video, IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, Email, and Web traffic for all 23 RCPS locations. Currently, RCPS is providing Internet Service from our 960 Pine Street, Conyers, GA location and will continue to use this as our primary service location.
