The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Hood anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP} for lntoxilyzer Maintenance & Services at Fort Hood, Texas. The acquisition will be offered for 100% small business set aside, under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Requlation (FAR) 4.1102(a) prospective offerers shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time an offer is submitted. See www.sam.gov. The requirement is for lntoxilyzer 9000 Maintenance/ Training for two CMI breath alcohol testing instrucments IOT support the Department of Emergency Services (DES), Fort Hood, TX. The annual maintenance/ extended service is for use by the DES to maintain the CMI 9000 Breath Testing Instruments. This plan will ensure that the instruments are maintained per Texas State law. The anticipated period of performance will consist of base period, and three, 12- month option periods. IMPORTANT - This will be a 100% set aside Small Business. In order to be responsive and considered for award, offerors shall have completed the certification requirements, via https://sba.gov/, prior to competing for this 4/29/2022 SAM.gov. solicitation. A concern will not be eligible for a set-aside or sole-source award under the 100% Set Aside program unless designated as an 100% Set Aside in SBA Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS).
