PSPC Project Title: Governor General’s Entrance Universal Accessibility Upgrade Location of Project: National Capital Region (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) Client/ User: Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch (SPIB)
Background
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch (SPIB), is considering improving the main entrance on the west façade of East Block, referred to as the Governor Generals entrance (GGE), with the intent to make it Universally Accessible. PSPC-SPIB is currently investigating different interior vertical lift options and is seeking information and feedback from industry regarding the availability of suppliers, installers and technicians for Invisible/Stepless vertical Lifts who are qualified to work in Ontario.
Request for Information
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek feedback from interested suppliers, installers and maintenance firms. The responses to this RFI will assist in the development of a design solution for the necessary renovations, procurement strategy and ongoing operations and maintenance support including annual certifications as governed by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) to contract for the required services.
This is an RFI and not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the award of any contract. The issuance of this RFI must not be considered in any way a commitment by the Government of Canada, nor as authority to potential respondents, to undertake any work that could be charged to Canada.
Delivery Date: 08/08/2022
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
