Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) for Commercial Wi-Fi Services (CWS)

Shared Services Canada (SSC) has a continued requirement for an owned and managed commercial Wi-Fi service. Commercial Wi-Fi services enables remote work, networking and teamwork in a wireless environment. SSC has established a complementary commercial Wi-Fi service that permits Government of Canada (GC) users to connect to any GC Wi-Fi service regardless of GC location. Commercial Wi-Fi could be deployed in government buildings across Canada, from coast-to-coast-to-coast. On June 22, 2018, Canada issued a Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) directly to the Qualified Respondents that closed on July 27, 2018.  This RFSA  resulted  in the issuance of three (3) Supply Arrangements (SA) for Commercial Wi-Fi Services (CWS) on August 31, 2018. It can be found athttps://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/award-notice/PW-16-00744672-001   Pursuant to CWS SA clause A.9 “On-going Opportunity for Qualification”, SSC deems it advantageous, to qualify additional Suppliers to expand its list of Suppliers. This Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) to establish a larger Supplier list is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a solicitation of bids or tenders and is intended only to pre-qualify suppliers that possess the qualifications required by SSC for participation in the next phase of the procurement process. No contract will result from this ITQ. This Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is the first phase of the procurement process by SSC for commercial Wi-Fi services. Canada reserves the right to cancel the procurement process at any time. Given that the ITQ process may be partially or completely cancelled by Canada, in accordance with the applicable terms, it may not result in any of the subsequent procurement processes described in this document.
