Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) for for the Procurement Process for Regional In-Building Wired Local Networks

Overview of the RequirementShared Services Canada’s Networks and Security Services Branch is responsible for the planning, design and operations of the Government of Canada (GC) IT network infrastructure; and the management of cyber and IT security services that protects GC data and technology assets.For intra-building network connectively, while the GC has adopted a wireless-first strategy for end users, wired networks remains critical for both power users and wireless backhaul. Today, SSC’s wired intra-building networks are composed of various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) platforms with little geographical standardisation. This has led to challenges in administration, training and support for these local networks.SSC is now seeking to establish regional standards for intra-building wired networks on a regional basis through an open competitive procurement process. This ITQ, which is being issued by SSC, is intended to pre-qualify Respondents who have suitable experience and industry partnerships to participate in the Bid Solicitation Phase.Submission Deadline for ITQ BPM019831 has been extended to November 17, 2023 @ 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.Responses that have been previously submitted will not be considered as part of this amendment therefore respondents must resubmit their Bid in P2P.
