The project involves restoring a home that has been damaged by a fire in May of 2026 located at 302 East Street. The structure originally included 8 apartment units. The reuse plan will incorporate apartment units, but the total number of units may be different than the original 8 units. The project will incorporate SHPO review and approval. Potential project budget is estimated at $900,000. Architectural services are to include: a structural inspection to determine the viability of the structure for rehabilitation; proposed rehabilitation plan; and a cost estimate. If the project is awarded, standard project design, bidding, and inspection services will be requested. The following qualifications will be considered:

1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to construction of large venue structures.

2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question in a timely manner.

3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules.

4. The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located.

5. References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. Ability to begin work soon.
