IONBench

The Centers for Disease Control and prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to FarHawk Marketing Services, 26000 US Route 11, Number 385, Evans Mills, NY. 13637. This is for 4 IONBenches including noise cabinet for: 1 Agilent 6460 (BCH190-NE58) & 3 Agilent 6490's (BCH190-NE78). The IONBench modules have a rugged frame built to support weights of - ton, contain a patented antivibration plate to avoid trnsmission of vibrations to the mass spectrometer turbomoleclur pump, and house a temperature momotoring and alarm system unique to these modules. The IONBench modules can support the weight of the instrument system, minimize instrument disturbance via a patented antivibration plate and monitor the temperature of instrument pumps and alarm upon overheating. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (for actions over $150k) 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
