This contract solicitation seeks offers for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) to supply electrical solenoids, specifically NSN 5945-00-079-9274, with an estimated annual quantity of 311 units and a maximum total quantity of 467 units deliverable within 180 days. The solenoids are designated for delivery to various Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) stock locations. The government will consider all responsible sources, but only approved suppliers, specifically Parker-Hannifin Corporation and G. W. Lisk Company, Inc., are eligible due to restrictions under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as the government lacks complete technical data on the item. Responses must be submitted prior to the stated closing date, and all offers must be in U.S. dollars and the English language. The contract includes an option for extension, allowing the government to extend the contract duration up to a total of five years including base and option periods. The procurement is not using the commercial item acquisition policies under Part 12, though potential suppliers can express interest in providing commercial items within 15 days of the solicitation notice. Evaluation of offers will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other factors outlined in the solicitation. The solicitation does not specify any set-asides, and the small business size standard applicable is 500 employees. The solicitation was posted in February 2014, and questions or communications can be directed to the contracting officer, Wanda J. Bell.
