This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. Proposals are being requested by responding via the attached SF18 Request for Quote. The Daniel K. Inouye Pacific Basin Agricultural Research Center in Hilo, Hawaii requires the use of a linear accelerator for irradiation services for commodity quarantine treatment research, including beam time and dosimeter readings. USDA to provide dosimeters. The USDA requires approximately one hour per week and location of services shall be no more than 1 hour driving time from the laboratory. Work will be covered during a 12 month contract period and each exercised option year thereafter. Wage determinations, provisions, and clauses are all applicable and are attached.
