City of Delta invites bids for the installation of sheet piles complete with walers and struts to maintain the width of an important irrigation canal, “the Work”, as described in the specifications and drawings provided as appendices to the Invitation to Tender.The Work has been designed to stabilize a section of the Delta Irrigation Canal that has experienced ground movement. The Work generally consists of:i. Installation of approximately 2400 sq.m. of AZ18 sheet piles at an approximate length of 9.14m along, complete with steel walers and structs, with struts placed at a spacing of approximately 6.0m.Tenderers are advised that there are site-specific conditions and requirements associated with this project, as outlined in the Invitation to Tender, which must be reviewed and considered when preparing a submission.
