Issuance of General Lease – Recreational and Protective Structure Use

The California State Lands Commission is authorizing the issuance of a General Lease for Recreational and Protective Structure Use, identified as File Ref. A5191 Item 28. The lease is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2026, for a term of 10 years. This agreement covers the use of filled and unfilled sovereign land located in the Napa River, adjacent to 1828 Milton Road in Napa, California. The scope of the lease includes the use of an existing dock, appurtenant facilities, two unattached pilings, a retaining wall with rip rap, and a levee area. The project has been granted a Notice of Exemption under a categorical exemption for existing facilities, as it is determined that the lease will not cause significant environmental impact or physical changes to the area. Christopher Hall serves as the primary environmental scientist and point of contact, with Sven Dietrich listed as the project applicant.
