Issue Right of Entry to Mountain Enterprises to Access and Stage Equipment at Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park

The California Department of Parks and Recreation, through its Sierra District, has issued a Right of Entry to Mountain Enterprises to utilize the overflow parking lot at Ed Z'Berg Sugar Pine Point State Park in El Dorado County. This authorization allows the area to be used as a staging area to support the Tahoe City Public Utilities District Tahoe Cedars Water System Reconstruction project, which is located outside of the park property. The project is categorized as a minor alteration in land use without changes in density and is categorically exempt under Class 5, Section 15305 of the California Environmental Quality Act. All activities must strictly adhere to the conditions specified in the Right of Entry Permit and comply with state and federal environmental laws, including the Endangered Species Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, and Section 5024 of the Public Resources Code.
