The City of Quesnel is soliciting proposals for a contractor to sort, process, and market Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) received from commercial sources at the Quesnel Landfill in British Columbia. The selected contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, and facilities to handle, crush, and bale materials to industry marketable standards. Proponents must provide a City of Quesnel business license upon signing and submit a detailed proposal including a fee estimate based on unit rates per month or tonne. The City maintains broad discretion in the award process, including the ability to negotiate scope changes, accept non-compliant proposals, or split the award among multiple contractors.
