Full Description

IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SOME OF THE P/N'S ON THE RFQ ARE NOT CORNING P/N'S. I APOLOGIZE FOR THAT AS THAT WAS MY INITIAL UNDERSTANDING. BOTTOM LINE, OFFERORS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO QUOTE CORNING SPECIFIC P/N'S. THE P/N'S ARE PROVIDED PRIMARILY AS A REFERENCE FOR WHAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS IDENTIFIED AS A TECHNICALLY COMPLIANT PRODUCT WHICH WILL SATISFY ITS NEED. THE GOVERNMENT WILL, HOWEVER, ACCEPT THE REQUESTED P/N OR ANY SUBSTITUTE P/N THE GOVERNMENT IS ABLE TO OBJECTIVELY DETERMINE TO BE A TECHNICALLY COMPLIANT SUBSTITUTE AFTER REVIEWING THE MANUFACTURER CUT SHEETS. IF THIS DOESN'T CLARIY, PLEASE ADVISE. ADDITIONALLY, THIS SOLICITATION SHOULD BE IDENTIFIED AS SPMYM3-17-Q-6155. DUE TO AN ERROR IN TYPING IT IS CURRENTLY REFLECTED AS SPMYM3-17-1-6155. ANY RESULTANT AWARD WILL TIE THE SPMYM3-17-Q-6155 SOLICITATION TO THE AWARD WHICH IS ANTICIPATED TO BE SPMYM3-17-P-6155. THANKS................MIKE
