No exceptions to this will be permitted.All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.Brief Description of WorkThe work includes upgrades to the electrical infrastructure to facilitate an increase in electrical supply to the building by BC Hydro and as further set out at Appendices:Appendix E – Specifications and DrawingsMedewinwin Apartments is a 2-story apartment building with 26 – 1 bedroom units. It is comprised of an original building constructed in 1963 and an addition added in 2002.The work required is for the purpose of supporting the electrification of gas fired equipment plus the supply and installation of electric heat pumps for provision of heating and cooling to the building. The electrification of gas fired equipment and the supply and installation of heat pumps is not included in this work.The successful bidder will be expected to provide all documentation required in the Notice of Award within the fifteen (15) calendar day timeline and begin work within 2 weeks after the notice to proceed has been issued.Exclusion of United States Based SuppliersSuppliers based in the United States are excluded from responding to this ITT. BC Housing reserves the right, at its discretion, to allow United States based suppliers to respond, in the event no reasonable alternatives are available.The successful Bidder must cascade this requirement to subcontractors and suppliers engaged in the performance of the resulting contract. The successful Bidder shall be responsible for verifying and demonstrating compliance with this requirement and shall provide evidence of such compliance upon request by BC Housing.This is a public solicitation issued through BC Bid.
